"Perfect location with a short walk across the foot bridge to the RSC and other major attractions, and abundant shops, and restaurants. The hotel has an old English charm and though the decor is a bit worn and dated, the staff is very helpful and welcoming. "

"Just perfect for us. Impressive grand staircase and a beautiful display of gorgeous smelling flowers were the first things to hit the senses. We came into contact with 2 members of the reception staff who were so friendly and seemed genuinely interested in us as a family group. We were there with my elderly parents who were equally impressed with the staff helpfulness. The 2 barmen were also pleasant and friendly. We were attracted to the hotel as it was city centre with its own parking. Room was spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was hot and plentiful. We’d intended using the pool/gym but we didn’t get around to it as there was so much to do out and about. I can 100% recommend this hotel."

"Rhe room was very clean. Bed was soft & comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpfuk. Good security so felt safe. On main road so shops & restaurants very close. Was not noisy either. "

"Hotel was clean and well managed. Room was a generous size and very clean. Only negative was the shower screen had presumably previously been broken and so was missing, which meant a shower sprayed water all over the floor. I reported it on check-out and was assured it would be addressed. "
