"A unique place to stay that really ticked the boxes - I stayed as part of a group and each of us enjoyed the experience, the birds, meerkats, tortoises & reptiles adding to an amazing stay! The bird show (included in price) was good and the staff extremely knowledgeable - the self contained rooms were very clean & comfortable and having a kitchenette with fridge/toaster etc was perfect, the en-suite shower room was large & again very clean - highly recommend a stay here!"

"Carl's house was great for our family trip. We had everything we needed, Carl is a great host, he was there to welcome us & showed us around. The location was ideal, with plenty of shops & restaurants. "

"I’m afraid I didn’t ask the name of the very tall lady on the front desk, but I wanted to thank her so much for looking after my father over Remembrance weekend. She was professional, considerate and understanding the evening before the parade and incredibly accommodating the following morning. A real asset to the Mercure brand"
