Loved the amount of technology and what was provided. For future bookers, just know that the bathroom situation is definitely rough, which they did warn us of. "We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The owner’s thoughtful touches really made us feel welcome, from the water bottles stocked in the fridge to the generous supply of K-Cups and coffee—such a nice touch. The home itself is lovely, with big windows offering stunning views of the lake. Even in December, the scenery was breathtaking, and we can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer. We’re already talking about coming back to enjoy it during warmer months! The only minor suggestions...

"We enjoyed our time. Plenty of space and close to a really cool little coffee shop down the street. Kid friendly with games and toys and a lot of room to run around in the backyard for epic hide and seek! Internet is wicked fast. Grocery store within walking distance."

Fireplace is for looks and not to be used.

"The floors werent as clean and there was some dust bunnies. The road outside was noisy even during the night. Having a daybed in the living room isn't comfortable sitting. Everything else okay. Weve stayed in many vrbos so our opinion is weighted by others. Great host, though."

"What a great property! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to relax and also enjoy watersports. There was no major boat traffic so kids were able to kayak without me being worried about them being around big boats and a great safe place for us to ski & tube in the boat. Had everything you could want from a lakehouse! "

"It's a beautiful location and the view from the giant living room window, high on the hill, is mesmerizing. It's blissful to watch the scene change through our the day and the sunsets were spectacular. The house is nice too ;). "If you want a beautiful view--this is IT! Four adults were in our party. Even though the online ad says it has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, only one is en suite. In fact, one of the bathrooms is in the lower level away from the rest of the living quarters. The house appears to be newly renovated and is nicely done. There is a dangerous area adjacent to the parking pad--open access to a deep trench area. The access to the lake and the dock is very tricky--steep and no path or stairs. The dishes...

"The property was clean and the photos were accurate. We enjoyed our stay. It had not been used in a while and it was past lake season so that could be expected. Dishes left in the dishwasher had mold. Starter supplies from the property management company were minimal and there were no left over condiments, food or supplies from previous renters. Note to property managers, there is damage to the dock, probably from Helene. We were refugees from the Asheville area immediately after Helene."

"We went to Elkin, NC to go on a winery tour and this was the perfect place to stay. Very roomy, clean and super cute!!! Tracy was a great host and very communicative!!! We were also given a free wine tasting within walking distance which was a very nice perk. Walt at the winery was great as well!!! We will definitely try to stay here in the future if it’s still an option. Thanks Tracy!!!"

"The house was extremely clean. The host was very attentive to our every need and extremely accommodating. The view is spectacular. ABSOLUTELY CUTE CUTE CUTE inside. I would note that the basement sleeping conditions are a bit damp. Bring a dehumidifier. Overall, yes I would rent again."
