"It’s my first time staying in a hostel with shared toilet and bathroom facilities. It was a good experience as everything is clean and there are only 5 rooms at this place. It’s just diagonally across the station. You get beautiful views of mt Fuji from just standing outside. "

"Really great hostel! The common areas and bathrooms were very clean, the room was really spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. We got a great view of mt fuji as well. Only complaint would be the heavy smell of cigarette smoke, likely from the previous occupants"

"The staff were, friendly, helpful and willing. The place itself was spotlessly clean, both my room and the facilities. It is within an easy walk of the train and bus stations as well as Kawaguchiko Lakeside. I couldn't have asked for better accommodation, would definitely stay there again."

"Stay was convenient. Although i did try to contact staff by email and phone i had no luck. But i also didnt book directly with the hostel so its not their fault either. Luckily there was somoene willing to help get in contact with staff. Bedding was comfortable enough, room was provided with air conditioning. But all in all its totally fine for a short stay. Right next to family mart and easy self check in ~ bonus!! "

"石和温泉での宿泊で利用しました。隣の方が大声で騒いでいた際、音漏れはありました。ですが、フロントに連絡して、対応をしていただけました。朝食を利用、ほうとうをおいしくいただきました。 I stayed here during a trip to Isawa Onsen. When the guests next door were being loud, some noise did come through. However, I contacted the front desk and they responded appropriately. I had breakfast, and the hōtō was delicious. "

"Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff. "I love the Mt.Fuji view in the room. The local is very friendly and walkable. We rode bicycle around the local and enjoyed so much. The staff could help with anything you request which is super nice. "

"Very quiet and safe area. Shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko Eli. Views from my room are gorgeous. Was able to experience Mt. Fuji for my entire stay. The staff were super helpful, kind and polite. Will encourage people to book their stay here. "

"Hotel was well kept, very spacious for a Japanese hotel, fantastic view of Mt Fuji, very good breakfast, free shuttle to train stations and very helpful/friendly/professional staff. Our only small negative comment is in regard to the older shuttle driver. He became known as “Grumpy-san” to our family. We are able to converse in basic Japanese, but he would only grunt at us and other riders even when greeting him. Also, he was not very shy about laying on the shuttle horn at tourist which was surprising. Overall Hotel Regina Kawaguchi was a great place to stay and is recommended. "
