"We have just had a nights stay and altho for some people the hotel would appear old fashioned and outdated thats what makes it so unique and has a oldy world feel about it .The staff were friendly and professional and our balcony room overlooking the sea was spotless and just perfect .infact we relaxed on the balcony and caught some winter sun .highly recommend "

"The Knoll house hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and has an old fashioned vibe. The staff are absolutely lovely and were incredibly helpful and kind. Observing some of the guest behaviour they also have the patience of saints. What makes the hotel stand out is it's setting. Beautiful views across Studland and walks on your doorstep. The rooms are clean and adequate, they are not particularly luxurious but if they were we probably wouldn't be able to afford to stay here. The restaurant food...

"I appreciated the staff for many reasons. I did have to wait for my room after getting off the cruise ship early and expected that. I worked and took a nap in the lobby. One very kind young man who was working in the dining/kitchen department approached me when I woke up to ask if I was ok. He told me he had been very worried about me but when he asked his manager if he should wake me up, he told him to let me sleep. He just wanted me to know he kept an eye on me to make sure I was ok. How sweet...

"The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth "

"Staff are welcomjng and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Our room was warm, comfortable and well appointed. The view from our room would have been stunning had it not been for rain and mist. Views of Isle of Wight and Hurst Castle. . . . Plenty of coffee, tea etc. Shower room was clean and bright, with big soft towels galore. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service great. We have already booked to go back later in the year!"
