"Amazing cabin that was perfect to relax in by the wood stove and look out at the snowy woods. Had all the modern amenities we needed and a well-stocked kitchen. Be careful with the driveway if coming in the winter. We were here during a snowstorm that turned to slush and then ice. The plow did come for the driveway but it still left a layer of ice that we needed a couple tries to get out of in our 4X4 SUV. It also was very slippery walking to the house. "Amazing location on a completely private small lake just a few minutes off the Taconic Parkway. Host is very helpful, and very artistic. Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

"We arrived during a power outage. It wasn’t looking good for this trip. Reach out to the owners and they got back to me very quickly. We went into town to get some groceries in the meanwhile. When we got back, the trip was officially on. We really liked the look of the cabin. It was kind of secluded which we liked and it wasn’t too hard to find. "We visit this area every year and have stayed in many places. Library Lodge was as quaint and comfortable as they come. Many comforts & amenities are provided for. "This was my second stay at this Marriott. I stayed for four nights each time. The staff always greets you when you come in and is so helpful! The facility is very clean and very quiet. The beds are absolutely spectacular so comfortable! It’s easy on and easy off to all the highways & is centrally located. The pool was warm and clean. The hot tub was so cozy everything there was absolutely excellent. It’s close to everything in Kingston. There is shopping many restaurants and local attractions. I highly recommend this hotel. I am a clean freak and super picky. To me the cleaning standards here are excellent. That’s rare in a hotel these days."
