The charming centre of Uitgeest is just a few minutes' walk away and offers cosy cafés and restaurants with a wonderful view of the lake. Take day trips to Amsterdam, the historic Zaanse Schans or visit the famous cheese market in Alkmaar. For nature lovers, the nearby dune reserve is an ideal place for long walks and bike rides along the North Sea coast.
