"My husband and I had stayed here in October 2024. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We did not have a great room, as it was facing the car park and it was the only available room on Expedia. However, the beautifully decorated lounge area with a roaring fireplace, overlooking spectacular views, soon made up for the flaws in our room. The restaurant is excellent! "This was the best little hotel we stayed in while traveling through Scotland. I was skeptical based on reviews. But it was an efficient hotel. No frills, not fancy, older hotel. Could it use a renovation? Yes. Did it bother us? No!! It was clean. Restaurant was traditional. The staff was super sweet and treated us like family. Very understanding when the Texan had no clue how to turn on a radiator! 😂. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! The experience was worth more than fancy...

"Lovely stay (1 night). Warm and cosy. Room and bathroom was clean and we'll equipped. Continental breakfast was served on a tea trolley to be enjoyed at the breakfast table within your room. Gorgeous views. Friendly welcome. Nice and quiet. Good WiFi. Free parking. Would recommend."

"Noisy location right near the plaza made worse by a food truck that pulled up at midnight. Room was small but fine except for the noisiness. Breakfast was ok. Hotel itself was beautifully presented. If it werent for the noisy people in the plaza the spot is perfect."
