"Fab cottage in great location. Really suitable for walkers as there is a large utility room with plenty hooks for outdoor gear and boots (direct access from outside) Very big property for 6 people with a living room & sun room. Did not get a tv channels ( it might have been us not knowing how) but there was wifi so could watch on line on phone if wanted. Easy to get to Fairy Pools and I preferred the walk from Glenbrittle campside around the bay. Easy to get to Dunvegan & Portree."

"The River View Cottage on The Isle of Skye in very beautiful surroundings. It is remote and quiet, but easily accessible from the main road A850. The cottage is very clean with a wonderfully appointed kitchen for those who enjoy their home cooking. Turn left from the driveway on A850 and it's a 7 minute drive to Portree, with a large CO OP supermarket that carries a selection equal to a large city market. We will definitely stay in this cottage again, should we plan a 4th vacation to Skye."

"It was a wonderful cottage, conveniently located, with amazing views!! The cottage had everything you needed and was clean and well kept up! The hosts who live next door were very kind and helpful. I definitely plan to go back! My only tiny issue was on VRBO and cottages.com, that manages it, there was no reminder email sent before check in with details and no way to communicate with anyone. I followed the instructions for check in as listed, but if I had needed to arrive late or anything like...

"The cottage was tidy and nicely set up. We were a bit surprised with the lack of wifi and that there was really only a tub with a sprayer and not an actual shower, but both were manageable. The beds were okay, plenty of warm duvets. The view is amazing, we loved sipping our coffee or a dram from the kitchen and front yard looking over the valley. "

"A beautiful location to relax and explore from. Part of the family was able to hike nearby attractions while others enjoyed the views and walks around the cottage. The cottage was very well appointed and beautifully renovated to allow for modern conveniences while keeping its charm. The owner was very responsive when asked about local recommendations. We would love to return if only it was sooooo far from Virginia."
