"If I could give this property 10 stars I would..it was absolutely spectacular. The panoramic view of the sea from the terrace was stunning and we made a lot of use of the mini- pool on the terrace. There is a wonderful covered terrace with a table and chairs and an outdoor shower as well as one inside so you can look at the sea while showering!!!!. We didnt use the BBQ or pizza oven but they were great features to have. Livia the owner had already sent us a welcoming email with useful tips on...

"Arriving at Bari we firstly had a message from Paola giving clear map directions via Google -allow at least 2 hours by car from the airport. The accommodation was on 2 levels which was a pleasant surprise as was the welcome pack of foodstuffs. "We hebben volop genoten van ons verblijf. De ligging en de toegankelijkheid van de zee waren de kers op de taart. Het huisje zelf is zeer basic en compact. Het mist wat extra zorg, vooral op vlak van praktisch gebruik. De ligging compenseert de gebreken."

"My husband & I had the most wonderful time in this very pretty authentic accommodation. Such a romantic setting with stunning views & very peaceful. The accommodation as basic as it is had everything we required & needed, the outdoor shower was just brilliant. Livia, the host’s daughter, was most helpful with supplying us with all the local information & her tips for eating out etc..Bruno & Livia were lovely & incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend this little rustic gem! "

"The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. Beautiful Villa

"This is a beautiful house in the peaceful countryside and completely private. It is situated just over 2km from the centre of Martano. The house is spacious and well equipped and the outdoor terraces were perfect for sunbathing and meals. Valentina and her father, Alessandro, were very friendly and helpful and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their house. Thank you!"

Highly recommend!Just a perfect location if you have a car. The sea views are always interesting.

"Tommasso and Maria are fabulous hosts who go out of their way to help. They came one day with pastries for us and there were refreshments and snacks for us in the refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, kitchen very well equipped! Loved the morning sunrise on the balcony with a visiting cat who greeted us everyday. The only negative was no wifi but Tommasso brought us a modem. And the thirty stairs to get to the unit. It’s not a problem for most but I have mobility issues "

Enjoyable Stay!

"From check-in until check-out, the staff at this property were amazing, professional and exhibited exceptional hospitality! I’d like to give special attention to Marco and Ludovica, who answered my many questions, helped with transportation and set me up with what I feel is the best room at the hotel (105)! The incredible view, 2-door corner balcony and cleanliness of the room made my stay that much more enjoyable. There were many great dining options close by and the expansive, inviting beach was only a 5 minute walk away. Be mindful that in the off-season, local buses are not in service, so transportation to and from this neighborhood will take extra planning. Grazie mille!!! "
