"Lovely family hotel. Good balance of kids programs and adult activities. The view is stunning, the food is good too. Only improvement is for them to upgrade gym facility but besides that lovely. Definitely worth coming back."

All the staff on-site are welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable and professional, while the location is simply out of this world! The comfortable tenting accommodation is luxurious and lavish, offering breathtaking views of the luscious KwaZulu-Natal surrounds and a feeling of being oh-so-very close to nature. The spacious deck, wood-fired hot-tub / cold splash pool in the dizzying summer heat, braai facilities and large on-site swimming pool (with an extraordinarily expansive view) were all definite highlights as were the many bushveld activities on offer, especially the early-morning walking safari and sunset boat cruise on the Pongola River feeding into Jozini Dam. We enjoyed ample wildlife sightings and the birdlife was also abundant, varied and exceptional. Remember to take along binoculars! We truly relished this high-end boutique "glamping" experience par excellence and can highly recommend specifically this truly special Africamps location within the Pongola KZN Game Reserve."

With a small number of luxury lodges, each designed for complete privacy, it offers a serene escape in the heart of the African bush. However, it’s the stillness of the wilderness that truly soothes the soul, inviting relaxation and rejuvenation. The staff’s hospitality was exceptional. From the flawless check-in and check-out process to their warm Zulu smiles, they made me feel like family. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail ensured every need was met effortlessly. The food was outstanding, with both breakfast and dinner showcasing home-cooked quality and local flavors. Service during meals was attentive yet unobtrusive, adding to the overall sense of comfort. Whether relaxing on my private deck or exploring the nearby paths, I was immersed in the peaceful beauty of the bush.
