"Rose Cottage had a small fridge but it was generously stocked for breakfast items for the 6 nights of our stay. Location is good. There was pet hair and pet odour on the sofa which we cleaned. The pillow protectors and pillows were stained and not very comfortable. Spa was good. Television was very small and not all channels could be received due to its age. An extra towel rail in the bathroom would have been handy given extra towels used for the spa and for swimming nearby. Rose Cottage...

"Loved our stay was nice and close to everything only thing i would say is it could do with some new utensils and dinnerware as quiet a few cups and plates were chipped and the yard could do with a clean up otherwise had a great stay "

"Great place for a family vacation! We loved swimming, playing on the playground equipment and exploring local pubs and cafes. The cottage was very spacious and there was lots of room inside and out for our child to play. The hosts were really lovely and helpful and made us feel very welcome."

"Stayed 2 nights… basically just to sleep "

"Bed linen was observed to be dirty when taken out of closet. No quilt cover on the bed. The complimentary shampoo/ conditioner and body wash we’re used and half empty. We’re unable to open any of the windows as painted shut and as it got very smoky from the fire. Ants in the kitchen cupboard Wasps got in to the cottage and had no fly spray or windows to open. "

"We were lucky to find this place at the our last minute decision. We took our little dog along. The place is just perfect for 4 of us. It was cleaned and fresh. The host is great too. Thank you."

"Overall it was a good experience, and wonderful that it was pet-friendly. Loved having the fire going! The dog could get under the house (beneath the deck) so that was challenging to get him to come out, and not to eat the seeds/nuts in the garden. One area of improvement could be to block it off. It would also be good if some spare linen and/or washing detergent could be supplied as there was only one towel per person."

"We stayed three nights. This is a very unique cottage with lots of character. Very comfortable and well appointed. Everything you need for your stay. A very quiet position among the tall ferns and gums where you will experience beautifully natural surroundings. We hope to return one day. surroundings surroundings"

"A fantastic property in an idyllic location. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped (so nice for a holiday cottage to have condiments!). The location is perfect - great views, animals that the kids loved feeding and amazing views. We will return."

"Bright, light filled house in the Dandenong Ranges. Well looked after, fantastic gardens full of life and colour and the sounds of nature. Comfortable and warm retreat just right for the two of us. Close to great restaurants. "
