"The sunset views were perfect! The private beach was just that save for a handful of other dog walkers throughout the entire week. Our 2 1/2 year old lab spent many hours chasing sticks in the water and sniffing out secrets of the beach. My husband explored nearby fishing spots and caught a few perch! Just a note - be sure to bring any pantry staples (spices, sugar, salt, flour,...) as there were no "leftovers" from previous visitors. It was a wonderful respite from the crazy times we are...

"Great place for a quick getaway with the kids and dog! Fantastic outdoor space with fire pit, great for hanging out. Games in the garage were fantastic for technology free family time. Older home with nicely updated interior spaces. Near by dog friendly beach was clean and beautiful, only a 5 min drive. 5 min walk to nearby beach, but not pet friendly, beautiful as well. Fenced yard was private but not completely enclosed for letting a dog off leash. "

"My two older sisters and I stayed here for a few days as an annual event. We meet each year in whatever city my conference is in. We completely enjoyed our stay but I would like to add a few things that stood out. One was that while the decor and feel was pleasant, it felt like a rental. There were several things I think would improve the stay. You should know that while there were three bedrooms they were all on separate floors. "Our stay at the house was great! It was the best equipped vacation home we have ever stayed in. Any kitchen items, spices, oils, vinegars, etc were available. It also had kayaks and a paddle board for guest use. Additionally, there were children’s toys that our grandson played with. The house was right on Lake Michigan with a beautiful walkable beach.
