There was no frig or microwave in the room! Had problems w/ key opening doors & found a dirty sock in the cupboard where clothes go. UGH ! Also VERY FEW parking spaces !! WoNT stay here again. Thanks, tho. Peace....

Great location - loved being near the water and cute downtown area with shops and restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Cold breakfast and hot coffee was fine, and we loved the warm cookies in the evenings. Would stay again!

Overall, we were slightly disappointed with the stay. We were initially excited about the location on the channel, however the Inn is a little rundown and does not give the “homey” bed and breakfast feel. The room we reserved was with a balcony and view of the channel which was nice, however there were only two chairs on the balcony with no table. This was one of the small things about the room that didn’t make the stay convenient. Additionally, since we were paying more for a bed and breakfast vs. a hotel, we were expecting there to be a decent breakfast in the morning. This place only serves a “cold continental” breakfast. It was very disappointing and not worth the extra money at all. The lady that checked us in was pleasant, however the lady that checked us out was not warm or friendly. It was unfortunate to not have a more positive encounter when leaving. The best part of this place was the location. If that is all you’re interested in then I would recommend this stay. If you are looking for more bang for your buck (updated, cozy, clean, good meal) then look elsewhere.

Great location, lovely old building but this causes some issues, I.e. guests in room above us were up and walking around a lot from 6 am each morning which woke us up. lovely breakfast plenty of choice. However one lady working at the property made us feel like we were an inconvenience ever time we interacted with her, but was friendly with USA resident guests, just seemed off with guests from other countries

The staff were great and welcoming and it was located perfectly between the areas we wanted to visit. The room we had was a little small (other rooms were normal size) and the parking lot was elevated compared to the road so that our car scraped the underside (fyi if you have a low sitting car). Overall minor things, but everything else was great

Very nice inn. Location was great for walkability and beach/lake. Our only complaint was that the pullout sofa in our suite was very uncomfortable for my son, but having it allowed us to all stay together. Our weather ended up being too chilly for beach time, but we walked the pier and enjoyed the many ice cream shops nearby. Loved the musical fountain show.

Great stay in cottage room 3, and we would definitely consider staying here again. PROS: The location was phenomenal; close to the boardwalk, beach, musical fountain, and downtown dining and shopping. We walked almost everywhere we went. Deb at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Coffee in the morning with a light continental breakfast, and more importantly snacks and bottled water available any time. The fireplace and netted tub in the room were nice perks. CONS: These may be a little nitpicky, but maybe someone will find them helpful. Our room didn’t have a fridge, which would have been nice for dining leftovers and beverages. It also could have benefited from a little more storage (luggage rack, dresser). By far, the pros outweigh the cons, and our stay was very positive.
