"Another lovely stay at Slaley Hall. I always feel relaxed when I stay and love a walk around the grounds. The room was big and comfortable although parts were showing their age, like the door into the bathroom and wooden wardrobes, however, this really did not detract from a lovely night away. Will be going back soon. "

"Warm welcome from the member of staff on duty, good-sized room with very comfy bed and an excellent en suite bathroom. Own n’espresso coffee machine provided, plus complimentary bottled water and fresh milk for hot drinks. Evening meal in the pub below was very tasty and the scrambled eggs I had at breakfast were possibly the best I’ve ever tasted. The only downside was the lack of heating in my room until 6pm on a day when the outside temp was below freezing and I had checked in at about 4.30pm (ie after dark). Other than that, a good find and happy to recommend."

"Excellent property, very welcoming, friendly staff, dog friendly, fabulous food, had a great sunday roast dinner & a lovely breakfast with our overnight stay. Comfortable, clean rooms. Also great spot to stop to walk Hadrians wall and visit sycamore gap.Highly recomend stopping by at this property."
