"Only issue was on checking out, the receptionist received a photo of a flannel I'd used to wipe the balcony clean from a chambermaid, and seemed to want financial compensation from me for using it this way. This spoiled what had up to then been a perfect stay in the hotel. I paid nothing, and left in a huff."

"The place has amazing views over the river. The room as clean and tidy. Breakfast had a small pre-order selection, but it was tasty and felt like local produce. The only downside was that the room felt cold and damp without any heating avaliable, but they do provide an extra thick blanket over the bed. "

"We're traveling from South to North and the Phong Nha Mountain House was by far our best decision. We loved the two days staying there and only wished we had more time. Strongly recommend! Enjoy the nature!"

"The owner was a super nice lady. We gave her a bag of laundry at 7pm and it was done when we checked out at 7am the next morning. She made us a nice breakfast and coffee. She has an overall friendly disposition. We will definitely stay here again."

"We loved the courtyard and our room walked out to the pool and sitting area. The staff are great they picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station free of charge. Breakfast is included and delicious and the manager speaks great english and is very helpful and knowledgeable. "

"Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Can book tours directly from the front desk and rent scooters. In the centre of town with lots of restaurant options around and close to the caves. Definitely would recommend if you're visiting Phong Nha!"

"The location of this hotel was nice, beautiful scenery. It was a clean room. It was nice that I could pay extra to be picked up from my bus, especially when it was kind of late 10pm. But I actually felt unwelcome kind of odd like I wasn’t supposed to be there. When we arrived I was just placed into my room quickly and wasn’t given any information, nothing about the wifi or breakfast. I guess there isn’t breakfast? "Clean and beautiful beach. Restaurant has many good options at decent prices. Easy Grab rides to downtown. Avoid week-ends as it'll be crowded with tour groups. Recommend to get a room with seaview. Gym is basic with deficient AC. Very good service from staff."

"This place is amazing. The best place in Phong Nha by far. The staff was so helpful. They booked us airport transfers for $23 USD each was, rented us a scooter to see the caves and suggested to just do the caves ourselves instead of the tours which was so beneficial and smart. Lan was exceptional in arranging everything for us. Spoke great English and knew exactly what we needed to do and set it up for us so everything was smooth and fun. The property is so nice. "We had the most wonderful stay here. It was one of our favourite parts of Vietnam. It was peaceful and relaxing in the countryside and on the lake. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere with warm, welcoming staff and animals! The rooms were beautiful and the restaurant had lots of choice. The daily free yoga was a huge highlight and we were able to rent bikes to get to nearby attractions. We will recommend this hotel to everyone and we hope to stay again soon. "
