"Was greeted outside and welcomed. The rooms were clean, and I walked barefoot without picking up dirt... :) The only complaint was that the T.V. had two remotes without instructions and did not work. The owner was very hospitable and got us into our rooms quickly. I would highly recommend this motel. "

"We need a place to stay the night because we had a doctor appointment the next day. We arrive around 4:30 got settled quickly and ran to town to grab some dinner. The unit Ruby was clean, comfortable, and close to town. Internet was quick, we had two phones, two iPads, and a lap top all on at the same time. We would definitely stay again. "

"The cottage at River Bird Lodge was excellent. It's very nice, clean, well appointed. It's great for a couple or a small family. The cottage layout has a bedroom and common living area with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is not always the case. It sits on a large property with a lot of woods to explore, as well as the river. This time of year the river is pretty low, so you can easily access the riverbed.. Niki was very responsive and easy to work with. I gave only 4 stars...
