"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"Went with my husband and dogs. The place is big and spacious close to lake placid and also secluded in the woods. We have a nice relaxing vacation."

"We had a lovely time! The space was great for our group of friends, we enjoyed the hot tub and porch quite a bit. We also loved the kitchen and living room set up, we all fit nicely for games in the evening and could chat while cooking. The sunrises were stunning and the quiet view was probably my favorite part! "The cottage is a lovely Adirondack cabin, which doesn’t disappoint. Its location to Upper Saranac lake is ideal, with the use of 2 kayaks to enjoy. I had the impression that the cabin was directly on the lake from the pictures on the rental, but was mistaken. I should have read the property description more carefully. The cabin is within very close proximity to the other camps. "

"The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. We managed with all of us just more shower planning. All in all it was a nice place to stay. "

"We really enjoyed our week at Camp Pinecone. The location is ideal for enjoying the Adirondacks - Tupper Lake, Saranac lake, and Lake Placid are all fairly close. Fish Creek Pond offers a quiet setting with access to other remote Ponds via Canoe or Kayak as well as Upper Saranac Lake (via the narrow channel) with a larger boat. Upper Saranac Lake was truly enjoyable - warm water and lots of it, with a very remote feeling. The cottage is also close to some very nice (yet challenging) hikes of...

"This cabin, checked every box that was needed for a perfect peaceful, relaxing, unwinding, recharging weekend get away for my wife and I. A must hike owls head mountain. Absolutely amazing. So much to do both directions just down the road from this location. The cabin was extremely clean. Felt just like home. The hot tub was fabulous on a cold evening. Will definitely look into for future weekends. "
