"We thoroughly enjoyed the home. We walked in and had a Christmas tree there. That was exciting. Getting to the place has some sketchy properties, but not the fault of the property owner. However, the fireplace didn’t work which was disappointing. We were told they were out of propane but didn’t get filled. The jacuzzi jets didn’t work either. "There was a flood warning in effect and we had to dodge a few puddles but once inside, we were warm and cozy. Communication with Jan was fast and easy. The check out instructions were the simplest I’ve ever encountered - so nice!! The only suggestion I would make is to have a wall mirror in the larger bedroom on the right. Would be nice to have an extra mirror than having to wait on the one in the bathroom - especially when I was a little too tall and could not see the top of my head in the...

"We had our family Christmas weekend and it was great! The kids fished off the deck and had so much fun! The house was perfect for us! The staircase is very tiny and wasn’t easy going up and down for adults but we made it work! Kids loved it!! It was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful in this area! We can’t wait to come back in the spring. We did have garbage disposal and dishwasher issues but it didn’t hamper our stay! Overall it was fantastic and we will rent again!! "
