"Helpful staff. Beautiful beach and pool. Nice rooms which are very clean and cleaned every day. Frequent problems with hot water, but this is common in Colombia. Inconvenient if you need to use an ATM - have to take a taxi into downtown Tumaco. "

"I thought the staff was excellent. I had to stay in the center of town for business but it is a loud part of the city and guests came in at all hours. You could hear them in the middle of the night as the walls are thin. Having said that, it did seem to be the best hotel in the city. The staff allowed us to leave our things early and were always courteous, which was greatly appreciated. The first rooms we were given were really small and it felt almost claustrophobic. "Our bedroom was very damp and so was the air, it was so humid that you could see droplets on the door and window in the morning. The ceiling was full of mould. There was some improvement after room service cleans but it was just a short relief. The staff at the counter did not have a card reader and did not even ask about how my stay was. I would not recommend this hotel."
