Perched over a quiet stretch of Caribbean coast between Soliman and Tankah Bays, Casa Dos Bahias offers a luxurious and tranquil Riviera Maya experience. This 4 bedroom, 5 bath house provides spectacular Caribbean views from every room. Beautiful home
Our stay at this house was amazing the home is beautiful the ocean and the pool Cindy and Luis were amazing and we’re very attentive to all our needs I would definitely highly recommend this place again this was a great family vacation and was enjoyed by all. One thing to mention is the power did go out a few times but it did not ruin our vacation. We will definitely be going again in the future

Great location, lovely property, excellent property management team!
This house was wonderful for my family. It is very close to Tulum, Akumal, and lots of cenotes in the area. Our group had eight adults and a baby, and there was plenty of room for everyone. I only wish we had grilled outside and eaten on the patio more often!

fabulous vacation rental
We just returned from our family vacation and had the pleasure of staying in this clean, modern waterfront property. Dan & all staff members were wonderful & professional-great communication during our week here. We followed their recommendations and had a smooth trip. Enjoyed snorkeling & kayaking in Soliman Bay- a quick walk from the house. We would love to return one day. Thank you to everyone!

Gorgeous Home & Locale
Well appointed and gorgeous house with multiple patios, an infinity pool to swim in, on the beach with ocean breezes and waves for your pure enjoyment. Setting is beyond perfection! Host, and property manager very responsive to a couple of short power outages due to work needed/happening on road power lines. Grounds keeper, housekeepers and guard were all welcoming, kind and non-intrusive. I highly recommend this private and again gorgeous home with ALL its amenities.

Love the white house!
We did a girls trip this summer and found this home to be just what we asked for. The accommodations are awesome. Booking was easy as well as communication with the owner and the house manager. The beach is not much for swimming just behind the house , but we totally enjoyed the cool Cenote just a walk up form the house. It was less than $5 admission. The pool was lovely to cool off in. The house keepers were prompt, the beds were comfy, the TV's worked, kitchen utensils were of a higher brand and quality. The patio furniture was of a higher quality than most hotels! These owners have made a home that is upscale, comfortable and reasonably priced! Me and my posse look forward to staying there again.

The house was nice, but it has filtration issues, one of my bag got damaged because of it and some items of one of the other guests disapeared. Nice house, not the best experience.

Hidden treasure
Wow! Great stay. The owner, manager, and cleaning staff were absolutely amazing. Really beautiful property Luis takes pride in keeping the area beautiful. It was great everyone got a bed and bathroom. Really close to manatee cenote which is a must snorkel. Food on the dirt road at the local hotels was fabulous ( dusty ,pricey & worth it). You will need a car. It’s far from stores so bring in all foods and alcohol you will want. It’s very convenient to cenotes, and ruins, day trip to Cozumel is a must. We dove with Tulum Dive Center, in cenotes and Cozumel, they were great. The ocean is not “swim-able” it’s super rocky. All the recommendations and info given by the owner and manager were on point. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing Casa with Beautiful Caribbean Views
The house was amazing with incredible views from every room, including four wonderfully private bedrooms suites. We loved the deck and the infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean and the beautiful sunrises, the second level deck outside the upstairs bedrooms, as well as and top deck for some beautiful sunsets. It was fun having two kitchens. We used one for cooking and one for beverages. It was great cooking outside on the grill and then enjoying dinner at the lovely large table with the amazing view. The beach and the ocean were pretty rough, especially when windy. Snorkeling and kayaking were good on Soliman Bay, though getting the kayaks there was a bit challenging. The housekeeping and groundskeeper were great and did a wonderful job.

Privacy with Beautiful Views!
The property provided exactly what we were looking for - a clean, beautiful, beachfront home with floor to ceiling views of the sea and sunrise from every room! We relaxed by the immaculately kept pool, listening to the sounds of crashing waves and birds, and had easy access to restaurants. Maybe due to the time of year, the water in front of the house wasn’t accessible (for kayaking, snorkeling, etc.), but the location was just a short drive to any activity we were looking for, from kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing to shopping and spending the day at a spa. The location and layout also gave us a real sense of privacy and security. We rarely saw and never heard others in the area. There were a couple of hiccups (power went out one evening for the entire area - the home’s generator kept some power on, Wi-Fi was out for a day, and showers might intermittently not have hot water), but NONE of those caused any real discomfort or disrupted our stay.

Amazing Family Vacation!
We spent a week at Casa 2 Bahias with our teenage son, twenty somethings daughters and son-in-law. It was magical! Augustin greeted us and gave us great suggestions. LizBeth was lovely and kept the house very clean. The pool boy came every morning to make sure the outside was well kept. Security was at the house from 7pm - 7am each day. The views were amazing; we saw the turtles lay eggs one night; sunsets were beautiful! Augustin sugeested Yal-ku, a less populated lagoon that is great for snorkeling. We brought our own gear so we could snorkel any time. We went to Xel-Ha which was fun but very touristy. We visited several places in Tulum for dinner and the beach. Ruins were great. We highly recommend staying here and hopefully will return sometime soon!

It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This!
From the moment we pulled up to the house, we knew this was the perfect location for our week in Tulum. Augustine gave us a “world class” tour of the house and made sure we had everything we needed. Views of the ocean greeted us each morning, followed by time lounging at the pool and walks along the beach. Finding the path the sea turtles left each morning was particularly entertaining. The detailed guidebook provided by Dan gave us ample resources for meals, activities and our excursions into Tulum, Playa De Carmen, and Chichen Itza. The grounds and home were immaculate and when one of the air conditioners needed attention, it was repaired within the hour. As I said, it doesn’t get any better than this! Next time, we will take advantage of the chef and masseuse!

A week in paradise
This villa is exactly as described. Four comfy bedrooms so no couple has to take the “bad” room like in other rentals. No swimming beach but the view from the pool area is hypnotic. We had bad seaweed the week we were in Tulum so I wasn’t interested in swimming anyhow. Yes the road is bumpy in places but we appreciated the privacy of being away from the tourist zone, so we were happy with the location overall. Just be aware the road could take 10 to 15 minutes to drive depending on the condition. The hotels nearby are in walking distance and the road felt safe even at night. The O Tulum hotel next door had great food and views. Housekeeper and groundskeeper were efficient and friendly. We spent some time cleaning up plastic on the beach; this is a problem everywhere and just a sign of the times. We didn’t spend much time in Tulum because of he house was so nice, we didn’t want to leave! We can’t wait to return.

My new home away from home in Mexico
This outstanding home tucked between lovely Soliman Bay and Tankah Bay on a gorgeous stretch of quiet shoreline is my new happy place. For my first trip ever to Mexico, I couldn't have picked a more fabulous spot to spend a romantic getaway week with my wife. This home is completely stocked with every comfort one would want, and every need was seen to by manager Augustine, housekeeper Cindy, and groundskeeper Esteban. Breathtaking sunsets, warm tropical breezes, and great swimming and snorkeling in both bays were just highlights of every day. The only "difficulty" my wife and I encountered was upon checking in: choosing which of the four beautifully decorated bedrooms to claim for ourselves. We highly recommend dropping by the brand new Hotel O' Tulum next door, and Blue Sky Boutique Hotel down the road for cocktails and meals out, as the setting at each spot is perfect for cocktails and dining. Security on site at night ensures safety and the sound of the ocean outside your door ensures a sound night of sleep! We cannot wait to go back! Thanks Dan and Dean for sharing your little slice of heaven!

Wow!
This property, and its management, are amazing. Augustin, the site manager, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, but he gets things done and promptly. For example, we wanted to have a taxi for the entirety of our stay. With 20 minutes notice, Augustin had it arranged. He also arranged in-house massages (which can be done poolside). Augustin further was so attentive that the would call just to check in and make sure all was good. Almost every night, we were in the pool after dinner. We would watch giant sea turtles come right up to the pool from the ocean for the purpose of laying eggs. Truly a magical situation. The O'Tulum Hotel next door is awesome. Great food, drinks and people with a very casual yet upscale ambiance. No shoes is fine, but still feels formal with the candlelight dancing. The house is very clean and very modern. I highly recommend it. Once of the best places I have ever stayed.

Beautiful house in Tulum
I choose the house for being beach front . It was my impression I was going to be able to get in the water . It was nearly impossible , and walking to the nearest beach same . The house is gorgeous , it is two complete houses in one , so ideal for more than one family traveling together . The maintenance staff is really good too . There is no dishwasher , one think is critical when vacationing , and the grill does not work. The house is really far away from downtown , and the road is not paved . The entrance to the street is really tricky and sort of dangerous . I think this house is gorgeous if you want to be in a quiet area , be in the pool and contemplate the water . But I it was not what I was looking for . I wanted to be able to be in the water , easy access to downtown . Safety was not a concern . There was a guard at all times . No issues with a/c or water .

Incredible
This home is so great....the view , the pool and sound of the ocean is incredible. Views from every bedroom and we watched the sunset from the rooftop over the jungle every night. Dan was so helpful with tourist information and restaurant recommendations. We especially enjoyed the O'Tulum Hotel Restaurant right next door, Blue Sky just down the road and Taqueria Honorio in Tulum. Best margaritas on the beach was just down the road at Casa Cenote. Went to Playa Pescadores around noon and bought fresh fish and lobsters right off the boats and cooked at the house as well. I highly recommend exploring as many cenotes as possible... all were so different and beautiful. We felt safe at all times and did appreciate the security at the house from 7pm til 7 am daily. Cindy kept the house so tidy and clean and Stefan kept the pool and grounds perfect. ( Do be aware he is there every day at 7 am). We loved that the house is pretty remote and quiet... definitely not the place if you want to walk to clubs or be around a lot of people. We rented a van for day trips and runs to the grocery etc.. but you could use taxis and shuttles as well. I highly recommend this house. We had the trip of a lifetime and made many treasured family memories at Casa 2 Bahias!!!

Wonderful Retreat!
This house is wonderfully equipped, exquisitely designed, and professionally managed. We realized that we were among the first renters of the house after completion, and expected that there might be a few glitches. The minor problems we encountered (propane for the grill, a sink that was slow to drain) were quickly addressed by the property manager, and our week there was thoroughly enjoyable and extremely comfortable. We liked the fact that the house is situated away from the over-developed areas of Akumal and Tulum. As much as we enjoyed exploring the beaches and checking out the restaurants in the resort areas, we loved returning to the privacy and quiet of Casa Dos Bahias. The owner was clear that we would not be able to swim right in front of the house. We appreciated the pool and the beach at Soliman Bay just a short walk away. We snorkeled and swam at the nearby Cenote, then used the equipment in the ocean right across the street. We were 3 couples on this trip. We had privacy with each bedroom and bath, comfortable gathering spaces indoors and out, wifi and satellite tv to make us feel completely connected. This is a great place for a family group or several couples. We spent the better part of a day at Coba, riding bikes throughout the extensive ruin site. Recommended! Someday this area will be full of resorts and restaurants. Enjoy the tranquility while you can!

Great Mexican vacation get-a-way!
We spent a great week at Casa Dos Bahias in May. We arrived to a spotlessly clean house. All the bedrooms had plenty of storage for all our things, and each bedroom has its own a/c unit. We shared the house with friends and both used the master bedrooms on the second floor. Very comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, and we woke to amazing sunrises every morning. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The outdoor dining area has retractable canvas curtains to block the wind if necessary, and the outdoor refrigerator comes in handy for poolside beverages. The pool was as clean as the house. The pool boy arrived promptly at 7 am everyday (except Sunday) to clean the pool and deck, and tend to any other outdoor things that needed to be dome. The housekeeper was fantastic keeping the house neat and clean. The house manager was happy to provide us with whatever we needed. He got us bikes to ride, and helped us with a minor car rental issue we had. He was great. We felt very safe there. There is a check point at the end of the road that asks where you are going, and at night there are very nice men watching the area. We frequently walked the beach. It is quite rocky, and clear entry to the water is not easy. A fifteen minute walk north is a great little beach front restaurant serving fresh seafood and cold drinks. A bit longer walk to the south has some other places to eat and drink that have a little more extensive menus. There is a cenote (a combo fresh & salt water natural pool) up the road for a refreshing swim, snorkel or scuba dive. For sightseers, the Tulum ruins are just a few miles away. Tulum also has many shops, beautiful beaches, and restaurants. We spent many afternoons at the pool since we had everything we needed there. I would highly recommend Casa Dos Bahias to anyone. We had a wonderful time, and hope to return again soon

Great vacation get away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa 2 Bahias. (yes, the sign on the house has a "2"). We had 5 adults (1 double, 3 singles) so we all had our own private rooms at opposite sides of the house (2 downstairs, 2 up). All four have a king bed, private bathroom, and amazing view of the ocean with full height windows and sliding doors with screen. We left our sliding door open with the screen door closed half of the nights there. The ocean breeze and sound of the waves made for a great night sleep. Since the house is near the end of a deadens road, there is hardly any traffic and we always felt safe with the private security guard there every night. Every morning the pool and grounds were cleaned and the maids come and cleaned from about 9:30 to 11:30. We chose to eat out every night and made our own breakfast and lunch. There are plenty of grocery stores in the area and the house has 2 full kitchens so plenty of room in the two refrigerators. There is a small hotel next door with a bar and small restaurant. We had lunch there one day. About a 10 minute walk up the beach to the North is an outdoor restaurant with tables out under the palm trees. That part of the beach is more sandy and better for swimming and snorkeling. Yes, the beach in front of the house down by the water is not soft and fluffy so bring some water shoes to walk the beach. I had flip flops and wish I had brought shoes. I got a massage by Cindy. It was a little weird getting massaged by one of the cleaning ladies, but she did a great job. We highly recommend going to dinner on Tulum Beach Road which is only about 20 minutes away. The traffic is pretty terrible, but we had great experiences at restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend: The Dining Experience, Mur Mur, Rosa Negra, Gitano, and a brand new one - Bel Nak. Overall, we had a great experience with this house.

Spectacular new home on the Caribbean ocean. This place is great!
Hands down, this is a great place to stay. The home can comfortably accommodate 4 couples in 4 separate master suites, all with breathtaking views of the ocean. The house also has a neat feature where a sliding partition can create two essentially private houses with separate kitchens in case you go with friends but still want a little extra privacy. The infinity pool and decks with a view over the Caribbean were amazing. The beach, pool and deck were attended to everyday. In fact, the entire beachfront at the home was raked each day – just like at a resort. Dan the owner, was very accommodating and was available at a moment’s notice by email or phone before, during and after the rental. Also Augustin, the property manager, was very helpful and available on-site. The house had daily maid service included – something I’ve never had with a private home rental. Augustin’s wife was wonderful also, she is a masseuse and cook! She gave us massages at the ocean’s edge and prepared some tasty authentic Mexican meals for us to eat on the deck. She purchased the food, prepared the meal – all we had to do was relax enjoying the view and great food. The ocean in front of the house is a coral reef and while swimming is possible, it is for the more adventurous. You can enter the water (with water shoes) and wade out quite a ways. The water can be a bit rough if the wind is kicking up. Kayaks are provided and they are a nice way to enjoy the ocean. You can take a 20 minute stroll along the ocean to a sandy beach at Soloman Bay – the beach there is just OK. There is a nice beach near the dive shop and resort at the entrance to the gated community or even better go to the amazing beaches in the Sian Khann preserve south of Tulum. The home is located in a gated community of about 50 high end homes. There was a small restaurant and dive shop inside the community along with a beautiful cenote. I felt very safe and we had a great time exploring all the area has to offer: ruins at Coba and Tulum, several cenotes, pristine white-sand beaches south of Tulum, restaurants in downtown Tulum, scuba diving right at the dive shop down the road. I have rented many times through VRBO and I can’t recommend this home more enthusiastically. I like to see new places and I have never returned back to the same rental home twice, however, I’m already in the process of planning our return to Tulum next year.

Fantastic Family Vacation!
Our extended family of 8 rented this home for the Thanksgiving holiday week, and had a fantastic time. I’ll start with the good: The house is just as pictured, only much more luxurious. You can enjoy beautiful and breathtaking sunrises right from your bed every morning. There is plenty of space to sit and relax, enjoy each other or sneak away for private time. The staff at the home make you feel very well-taken care of. Augustin checked on us regularly, and LizBeth made sure the home was well-cleaned every day. Even Estevan took care of the grounds with exceptional detail. Every question or clarification we needed – when we needed extra towels, for example, were taken care of quickly. We were able to find groceries nearby in Tulum – actually more than a grocery store, more of a Super WalMart. They have everything. And we had some good meals at local restaurants. We made great use of the grill on the patio, and the kitchens are well-equipped. The house is near the ruins, and we headed out to Coba and Tulum to enjoy them. We even took in the new Cirque du Soleil show in Playa del Carmen (typical Cirque show, nice acrobatics, but a little too short actually – it’s only an hr). The kids noticed 2 lizards living the in bush just to the edge of the patio. They calmly came out to sun themselves daily and delighted the children, scurrying away as the little ones got too close. Can’t say the same for the friendly dogs that came around randomly just to say hi. And a highlight for kids and adults alike were the baby turtles hatching at the edge of the patio and making their way to the ocean one evening we were using the grill. We felt safe on the property and at the house with the security onsite – dedicated to the property and the neighborhood patrols. There are many sliding glass doors and doors to outside, so we were sure to check all of the doors and locks to make sure everything was secure. And so the bad: The road! It was end of rainy season, but be forewarned! The road to the house is a disaster, crater-filled mess. Regular cars travel the road fine, but be prepared for a super bumpy ride for 20 mins after turning off the main road. The waiters/servers at a restaurant down the road Casa Cenote (while incredibly nice) seem to have swiped or shared my credit card number and tried to go on a shopping spree 300 miles away. Thank goodness the bank shut it down quickly. Overall, we had a fantastic family vacation!

Gorgeous house- but needs work
The house is beautiful and just as they portray it. It is on a private stretch of the beach that is nice and remote, and we only saw maybe a dozen people the whole time we were there. It is about 10 minutes off the main road, & 25 min from Tulum. Each room has a king size bed, & private bath. They did have two blow up mattresses that we could use if needed, and had them set up for us when we arrived. The two rooms upstairs have an amazing view, with a huge balcony and two roof balconies that have beds on them for tanning.  It looks out at the zero edge pool, that looks over the ocean- which is beautiful.   They did welcome us with a beautiful fruit tray and snacks. Almost everything you need is between the two kitchens. Pool towels are also provided.   The caretaker Ricardo was onsite every day, & did his absolute best to make our stay amazing!! He was great help & spoke good English. He would go above & beyond daily to try to help any way he could.   It should be stated though- there is no garage, & no easy way to get luggage in to house from where you park. There are about 10 steps to get to house. It is definitely not for anyone with knee problems or disabilities. The one bedroom upstairs has such steep stairs- they are very dangerous!!  We did ask a couple of times if the house was on the beach…. it is beachfront, but they don't show the beach for a reason. It is a coral reef… lots of rocks. The sand on the property is steep, & rough. It should also be stated that the beaches & surrounding property is filthy and there is tons of garbage to walk thru, though their beach is kept clean.   The hot water heater is hot for about a minute, then if lucky-  luke warm for 90% of your shower.  There is no dishwasher, or washer or dryer…. so yes- you have to take home wet clothes.   The upstairs has a horrible mosquito problem that the caretaker did take care of- after we went and spent about $40 on bug spray, and had to have him spray daily, & light mosquito coils almost constantly, as well as bug spray on us.  There was a maid daily, but she was extremely efficient, but extremely slow & spoke little to no English.   Overall…. they are some minor issues that can be fixed easily, & other issues that should be stated in their description.   It was a beautiful house, but if we had known about some of the things, like being on a coral rock "beach", and no washer/ dryer or dishwasher… we might have gone with our second choice for the price we were charged.

10/10 Excellent

Blessing in disguise ❤️❤️❤️
Ok it took a minute for me to write this. I am an older mom of a medically challenged toddler. My anxiety with life has been high so traveling for the first time with my 'miracle baby' was high. I took ALL of Dan's advice with just staying and enjoying the property and visiting O'tulum hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not only did my mini me do well on the plane BUT LOVED the pool the ocean and the food! We are planning our next trip for her birthday. The transfer from the airport to the property all arranged by Augustin. It was THE BEST SERVICE and I've decided December is to far away and looking to return within a couple weeks. If you've been leery about booking accommodations..no worries here..this will be a lifetime getaway for my mini and I. Be blessed ❤️❤️❤️ PS..the house is amazing!!!
