The dining area comfortably seats up to 12 guests, to enjoy meals together.

Cozy Living Room:
Relax in the comfortable living room, furnished with cozy seating, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration.
The room is equipped with a flat-screen HD smart TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.

Comfort Features:
Several ceiling fans throughout the space provide additional comfort and help circulate cool air. Plus every bedroom has a ceiling fan.
A full main bathroom is conveniently located off the great room, offering easy access for guests.
This Open Great Room is the perfect gathering place for your group, combining comfort, functionality, and stunning views to enhance your stay at Casa Tortuga.

Bedroom #1: Two queen beds and a double futon (futon can be relocated) A/C, closet, and safe.
Bedroom #2: King bed, ensuite bathroom, A/C, Bottled water, closet, safe, and patio door access to the beach-side veranda.

Lower Level:
2 Beachfront Bedrooms: Each with king beds, air conditioning, closets,
room safes, bottled water, and private ensuite bathrooms. Both have private entrances leading to the beach-level patio.
Bedroom #5 - Casita: A separate unit situated directly behind the main house with a queen bed, air conditioning, closet, safe, bottled water, and a full private bathroom.

Security and Location:
Casa Tortuga is located in a private bay with 24/7 security, ensuring a safe and peaceful environment during your stay. The villa’s prime location allows for easy day trips to explore nearby cenotes, Mayan ruins, and other adventure attractions.

Culinary Options:
Chef Service: Customize your dining experience with our chef service, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Samuel, our talented chef, will shop, cook, serve, and clean up for your group.

Cost:
Breakfast: 100 pesos per person
Lunch: 100 pesos per person
Dinner: 150 pesos per person (includes one starter, one main dish, and dessert).
Plus the cost of groceries for the meals.
Cocktails are available (margaritas, Coco locos, etc.) More information and menu are provided post booking.

Additional Notes:
Gratuity is not included and should be paid directly to Samuel.
Please limit meal selections to a maximum of 2 main meals and 1 starter for the group.
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan options are available upon request.

Additional Information:
The villa is thoroughly cleaned between guests with enhanced cleaning measures in place.

Fantastic House!
We absolutely loved Casa Tortuga! The house was large and easily fit 10 of us with more than enough space. Samuel is a fantastic cook and was extremely helpful with setting up shuttles for us to take to different areas of Tulum. Right on the water and can't beat the turquoise water views! Plenty of outdoor seating and lounge areas for everyone to enjoy their time.

Second visit to Soliman Bay
Casa Tortuga is a gem in Soliman Bay, my family and I loved the location and property. Samuel and Maricela were not only meticulous in the keeping of the property but also in the preparation of meals, they were wonderful to us, accommodating to every member of the party and truly made us feel as if we were home. After a rocky arrival to Cancun the respite that Casa Tortuga and more over Samuel and Maricela provided was above and beyond, and already has us discussing our next trip back.

Beautiful house with everything you need
Cheryl’s house is beautiful. Right on the beach with amazing views day and night. It is very quiet and private. We had every meal cooked by Samuel and Marsila and it was AMAZING! They truly made our stay relaxing and both went above and beyond. I would highly recommend staying here and letting them cook for you.

Stayed with the family for 5 days and couldn't have asked for anything more. Kayak and snorkeling right outside the house. Samuel the house attendant is also a very good cook if you choose to let him make a meal. If we come back to this area we will stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga very much, there were 7 of us and plenty of space. Samuel is so kind and helpful! The snorkeling was great! The Sargasso smells but they tried to remove it every day and it is no one's fault. We would like to go again next year!!

We loved our week at Casa Tortuga. The house was well-stocked, well-kept and spacious enough for four couples. Samuel and Norma were great and helped with shopping, cooking dinner (Yum!), scheduling a yoga instructor, recommendations and keeping the house and property spotless. The pool and beach are perfect for relaxing. The bay was wonderfully warm and full of fish for interesting snorkeling. The location was close enough to Tulum to be convenient but also nicely secluded as well. We are already dreaming of our return trip!

Peace and Solitude for busy people!
A warm and wonderful 10 day stay. The Casa's staff was attentive and polite. The maid service kept the spacious accommodations sparkling clean and the chef provided a varied menu of tasty cuisine. The grounds and the pool were kept immaculate. The Caribbean view was fantastic. Trips to Tulum and Playa showed the social side of Mexico and were eye-opening as to the Mexican culture. We would go again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful Spot
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Tortuga. Samuel and Marisela are wonderful hosts, and kept the house very clean and made wonderful meals. Our group included adults and young children, and everyone had fun with kayaks to get onto the water for swimming and snorkeling, toys to play in the sand, and pool floats and toys for enjoying the pool. Beds/bedrooms were comfortable for sleeping and the air conditioning worked well during the nights. We made use of the upstairs kitchen a handful of times, and found it well stocked with what we needed for cooking. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would absolutely stay again if returning to the area in the future!

A perfect week !
From booking to leaving everything went super smooth. Cheryl was super responsive and helpful in helping getting there and making sure everything was ready for the whole group. Samuel and marisela made everyone feel like they were living a dream taking care of everything on site from cleaning the house every morning to doing laundry and preparing dinner and drinks for the evenings. The location is amazing being so close to tulum for evening adventures to everything else around making great day excursions and even right at home the beach offers adventures with the kayaks and snorkel opportunities around the bay. Overall a perfect week for everyone. Easy to balance relaxing with adventures and excitment. Thank you Cheryl, Samuel and Marisela !

Relaxing in Paradise
We had a great stay. Cheryl was very communicative and very easy to deal with. This house sits right on the bay and is just stunning to wake up to the sunrise every day. The rooms all have cold AC and the showers were always hot. It is truly amazing when you first roll into the private gates and just take the view in. Samuel takes care of the property and any requests or needs you may have. He speaks good English too and is great to work with. Maricela kept our place tidies up every single day. It was nice to come home to a clean home after being out adventuring around. We had Samuel and Maricela prepare multiple breakfast and dinner meals for us as it just made life easier. There are a few good restaurants nearby, but having an infant child who already had a long day --- it was nice to just sit back and have dinner already made for us. GREAT HOSTS - GREAT LOCATION -- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS EXPERIENCE!!

Casa Turtuga ROCKS!!!
We had the best time at this house. Everything was wonderful. You have to have Samuel and Norma cook meals. Breakfast (french toast, bacon and eggs) were spectacular. Samuel was kind, and helped us with every question and need. The house was set up great and the view is amazing. The pool was cleaned everyday, patios swept, beach cleaned of seaweed, and house, beds, bathrooms were also cleaned everyday. We had 8 of us including 4 kids and we all enjoyed our stay very much.

When life gives you sargassum / sea grass
We had a WONDERFUL time at Casa Tortuga despite the sea grass! We so appreciated that you tried hard to be proactive with it’s clean up. Thus being said it gave us more time to explore all Tulum and area has to offer. Samuel and Marsila are amazing! We were sad we didn’t have them prepare every dinner for us. And Samuel is a wonderful bartender! We highly recommend Cheryl and Dean’s place for a nice quite and relaxing vacation. And take advantage of Samuel and Marsila’s cooking, you will not be disappointed!

Everything was perfect!
We spent 6 wonderful days at Casa Tortuga with extended family as we were there for my daughter's wedding. The accommodations were perfect for our large group giving everyone space to relax and come together for the fantastic meals prepared by Samuel and Marisela in the outdoor kitchen area, which was a definite highlight. We had Samuel stock the kitchen for us before we arrived and most of our dinners there which was so convenient for our large group and they are 5 star restaurant quality. Loved his happy hour margaritas too! The place is clean, well stocked with what you need and if you can't find it or don't have something Samuel is a great resource. The beach was in front was clean and we even had some green turtles hatch from a nest right in front of villa while we were there. Marisela keeps the place spotless. We felt safe always and appreciate the extra security on this Bay. Everyone in our group raved about the place! I highly recommend Casa Tortuga for a large group, it is perfect!

Amazing getaway
We absolutely loved this vacation! Samuel was so helpful and accommodating. He had the sweetest disposition. Prepared meals and housekeeping were certainly a highlight that made our vacation feel truly relaxing . Seaweed was an issue during our stay, but the staff worked hard to manage it. The owners cannot control the seaweed, and we certainly recognize that. The views were breathtaking, and the snorkeling was an activity that all of our family enjoyed. Cheryl was communicative from beginning to end and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Thank you for sharing your home with us! I would highly recommend to anyone considering a vacation in Tulum.

Casa Tortuga was beyond amazing! If you are thinking of staying here, you SHOULD! Samuel was so helpful with everything we needed. He is also a fantastic chef. He cooked us breakfast and dinner each day we were there and everything tasted so delicious. The property was just as advertised. It was spacious and clean and we couldn't have been happier. The pool was such a great spot for us to hang out and cool off. Cheryl was so friendly and returned all messages so quickly. She was super helpful in making sure everything was ready for us when we got there. She answered all of my questions even when I kept changing plans! We would love to come stay here again. Beautiful and well kept.
Our stay was great. We hired the chef for most of our meals and he did a great job. We had 2 with severe allergies and 5 with celiac and needed a gluten free diet. He accommodates incredibly well for all our needs. The only negative thing was the seaweed and the horrible smell that accompanied it. We were told about it, but didn’t realize how extensive it would be. Even with people clearing the beach daily it was still too much to clean up. And the stench of it was sickening at times. But none of this was the owner or managers problem, it was just Cancun in August. It is something to think about before going.

Such a lovely retreat with the best views
We loved everything about our stay at Casa Tortuga. The house has everything you could need, and is a great escape, especially during COVID-19 when a vacation requires a true getaway and not near a bustling city or town. Cheryl was very easy to work with throughout the booking process. I can't say enough good things about Samuel and his wife Christina, as the caretakers and chefs at the house. We opted to have most dinners and all breakfasts cooked by them at home, and honestly they were some of the best meals we had in all of Mexico. Incredible flavors, and variety. They also did a great job cleaning the home and bedrooms each day. I would definitely recommend getting meals cooked by them, and make sure you tip them extra because they work so hard to ensure every guest has a great vacation. gorgeous and just the break we were looking for!
Well, in short a wonderful experience! Samuel a great host, quick to fix everything and makes a mean plate of fajitas! kayaks are wonderful as well, great way to explore the ocean. Just cannot say enough about opening the doors and being able to take 10 steps to the ocean. Amazing! Great location too, definitely try the restaurant located in the Jashida hotel, amazing! and Bob's grocery a cute funky little place too, both 5 minute walk from the house. We spent our last night in Cancun and I definitely prefer the quiet, peaceful nature of Soliman Bay. It is rather windy there, but perfect to cool down as the weather was HOT when we were there. Definitely go check out swimming with dolphins at the Solerus hotel and Xen Ha, both super close!!! Definitely recommend renting a car as it makes it much easier to get around, and it is really affordable. Thanks for the great memories, and the wonderful vacation we got to have with Casa Tortuga as our home base.
