"Cradle mountain was great. Walking tracks behind where we stayed. Gallery was good (bought some things). Drove to the area to catch the bus that took us to the mountain itself (not able to drive all the way in as restricted). It snowed a tad which we loved, scenery was magnificent. Well recommended to stay - dinner / breakfast onsite at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Loved our stay"

"What a fabulous location. Friendly reception, absolutely lovely cabin with fully appointed kitchen, gas-fireplace, close to several wonderful activities (Cradle Mountain and Tasmanian Devil reserve), beautiful view from all of our windows. COMFORTABLE beds and great shower. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. "

"I can't fault this place. Absolutley amazing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful. Very spacious park with immaculate state of the art cabins and ammenities everywhere so noone has to walk too far. The reception/shop has everything and more you will need. Its also the closest accomodation to the Cradle Mountain Visitors Centre just a short walk across the road. If your planning on visiting Cradle Mountain i cant reccommend this place any higher. "The accommodation was clean and comfortable and in a great location right next to the lake and waterfall. The weather was quite cold during our stay and Jane was very helpful making sure the heating was on and the place was already warm when we arrived."

"We were very appreciative that the Manager had put the heaters on for us so that we didn't enter a brrr, cold house. Very thoughtful. Everything was great! The only suggestion I would make would be to have a small "Welcome" pack containing a small milk, maybe some biscuilts, the sort of thing that would be of benefit for those people who arrive after the shops have closed. Overall, we were very happy with the accomodation & Waratah itself. Would definately stay again, if we come to Tasmania again."
