"Greg welcomed us on arrival, even though we didn't arrive until 8.15 in the evening, due to a very long diversion! At breakfast he gave us recommendations on restaurants and places to see. We managed to do quite a few of these, including eating whiskey ice-cream! A peaceful place to stay! "

"Hotel location is ideal - centre of the town, handy for the railway station. Got a drink on arrival. Only issue we came across was a loose curtain rail in our room which we reported to reception before going out for something to eat. By the time we returned this issue had been rectified. Excellent service."

"This palace is up on a hill and driving up to it took my breath away. Pitlockry is a quaint little town and Atholl is the "Queen" of the quaintness. The building and grounds are exceptional. Be sure to walk all of the grounds and take in the unique gardens and tree lined trails into town and the backside along the creek. A memorable place to stay! "

"Was just a last minute booking on my long way home, but it turned out to be the best night of my two weeks in Scotland. My suitcase was carried upstairs by the young man who welcomed me in reception and explained about the restaurant and breakfast times. I arranged my bookings at both. Very impressed with both meals. Breakfast was not all self serve but freshly cooked as per my order. Room was superb with every attention to detail supplied."
