"This truly is a hidden gem. Absolutely stunning location, so peaceful. The cottage has so much room, there were 6 of us yet did not feel on top on one another having the kitchen diner plus snug and upstairs living room. Rooms are spacious and the decor is beautiful. They have literally thought of everything. True home from home. Would love to go back. "

"Buckhood cottage had everything needed, clean and functional. The kitchen was a good size with the best view to look at while washing up. Beds were comfy and slept very well. Only issue was the shower, very low pressure and runs scorching hot and freezin cold. Overall a very good stay. Xxx"

"Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. The cottage is in a peaceful location and had the benefit of woods behind it that we could walk our dogs. Although the garden is enclosed it isn't...
