Local artist Martine has some amazing art pieces.We ate at Chumis and could not have felt more welcomed by Mirta, the proprietor. Lots of joy and love! Great Tacos Camarrones at Dalis as well. A most needed getaway!"

"We loved our stay at Casa de Lis, from the host’s welcome and assistance with parking to a late evening drink on the roof terrace. The hotel is simply but tastefully decorated and our room - with small balcony- provided everything we needed for a comfortable night at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended "

"The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant. We ordered two lobster dinners and were served shrimp. When we stole the waitress that we ordered lobster and got shrimp, she looked at our plates and said, "no, that is lobster." I said no it is not and so did my grandson. Then she came back and said they could correct only one plate. I said, "how is that reasonable? We ordered two lobster plates and got shrimp. Why wouldn't you correct both?" It was a big to do and by the time I got my dinner, I had lost my appetite. Both the shrimp and lobster were over cooked."

"What a great place, the owners make to so! Everything was perfect! Hope to return one day! The construction has really impacted them... Had to drive along the closed road to get to them when we went... Said it's been under construction for 4 years! Gonna be a super freeway by there someday."

"We have stayed at Steve’s and Nancy’s for two weeks and experienced their hospitality, friendliness and such a warmth. Loved the place : super comfortable, very private yet close enough to know the host is there when you need them. Steve and his helper rescued us from a very daring car trouble for which we were so grateful. We enjoyed the tranquility and spectacular views, jacuzzi on the huge terrace was awesome. We will go back next year."

"Super responsive host, most beautiful views, property well cared for with fantastic landscaping. Highly recommend this VRBO. Would suggest coming with snacks or meals. We would go out for the day and come back but you won’t want to come up and down that mountain at night so we had food with us. The thermal pools are a great suggestion. Loved it. "
