"The hosts were welcoming and super responsive from the point of booking and throughout our stay. There is a well equipped kitchen with some lovely extras that were there for our arrival, including fresh eggs from the farm chickens. The garden and hot tub area is great for evenings under the stars. "If you want a family holiday up to 9 people in South Devon in the Countryside, staying in a traditional thatched cottage, then this is the place for you. Amazing character set in a beautiful village location, close to all the beaches for the children but far enough away from the crowds and traffic in August. "Lovely apartment with everything you need. Gorgeous views across the harbour. Netflix and prime also provided for cosy night in. Harbour and marina approx 10 min walk. "Lovely property in close proximity to the beach at Challaborough Bay and a short walk to Bigbury. The property was as described and overlooks the Challaborough Bay holiday park. It's great for surfing and visiting Bigbury/Burgh Island. Salcombe is a short drive and there are many National Trust places to visit. Note that the drive down to the property is a typical road to the coast (e.g. steep and narrow)."
