"Having spent years staying in National chain hotels this pub was exceptional & a breath of fresh air. Friendly helpful staff, comfortable bed & clean on suite rooms. Breakfast was probably the best freshly cooked that I've ever had. 5* for me. I would definitely recommend."

The continental buffet (yoghurts, breads, fruit, pastries) was very appreciated, and the hosts also had a home-made cake that guests could have upon arrival. The room was quiet, and the king size bed very comfortable. The shower (over the bath) had good water pressure and easy to use. Free parking is available for eight cars (four at the front, four to the rear). "
