"We were a little unsure if we had the correct house when we arrived as it was getting dark and the house was dark except for the basement. We didn't realize that the owners lived on-site in the basement so were were surprised to see someone at the door. Joas was surprised as well as he didn't realize the house was booked (it was a weekday booking and we only messaged each other when the booking was made 6 weeks earlier). He was very apologetic and quick to rally. We brought our things in and headed to town for dinner while he made the place ready for us. I have to say, there were just a couple of things that needed to be tidied and cleaned. When we returned, the lights were on and welcoming and a lovely bottle of wine was waiting for us. The house is stunning and the views were too. We had plans during our quick stay but we all agreed that we need to come back another time to just hunker in the house and enjoy time there. They provided everything that you can think of needing while there. Joas and his wife are very nice and good people. It felt like we got to know them while we were there as we looked through photo books and at their Instagrams. What an adventure their lives have been! We will be following along on their next adventure. We are already checking our calendars to see when we can return to Libby specifically to stay in this house. If you can, make sure to build in a day to just enjoy the house and property without going anywhere. You won't be disappointed!"

"Both the room and hotel common areas were very clean. I thought the beautiful wood carvings from the annual wood carving championships were a perfect touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. These accommodations were perfect for my week stay."

"We stayed in the cabin 3 nights. Was a good location and the cabin provided all one needs and more. They have gone out of their way to make it a good spot. Every little detail thought of and provided. So much stuff in the cabin without feeling cluttered. While we went for hikes we could have easily filled our time without leaving the property."

"Very spacious and well appointed residence for any occasion whether a large gathering or small family get away. The location cannot be beat with peaceful and tranquil views from the deck or walk along the bay to a short drive to amazing dining and shopping in Sandpoint. We stayed for Christmas and went skiing and snowmobiling. We are now booked for summer fun in August and cannot wait!"
