"The cabin is exactly as described on VRBO. We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. We also spent a day just enjoying the cabin, the lake, and watching movies. We thought we would miss internet but really enjoyed not having it. We wished that there was a bathroom...

"We had such an amazing stay at cabin 1. We both slept great on a very comfortable bed. Location is ideal for short day trips. We checked out whitefish point and Tahquamenon falls in the day and finish the night with a great bonfire right on the lake. Made sure to take advantage of both early sunrises over a nice cup of coffee. Carrie is very accommodating and Great suggestions that we took Paul for breakfast on our way out. We definitely will be booking this Cabin again in the future and...

"Great location! Close to St Ignas and other local attractions. Cabin is nice and private. There are neighbors close but didn't even notice they were there. Bonus one of the few places that allow pets including dogs. Nice cabin with a big firepit (one nights worth of firewood provided) could have been a little cleaner. Grill was not in working order.Also no matches or basic spices. Town was so close it wasnt an issue. "

"Great place to stay, the hostess was very responsive to our questions and stopped personally by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. We had a good time, fishing wasn’t that great when we were there, but that was the general experience with the others that were fishing on that lake. Can’t blame the hostess for that."

"My wife and I spent a long weekend in the UP with our son and daughter in law and we are so happy we found this location. It was great for us! The place is just like it looks in the pictures, so no surprises! It's on a dirt road but only about a quarter mile off the pavement. As a result, it is VERY quiet, since the only cars you'll see are for other residents. We were there 4 days and saw the same truck twice... that's it! One thing that is not shown in the pictures is the pool table. Nice...

"This property is such a gem! We've stayed in many cabins similar to Carrie's before and this blew the others out of the water! Rustic but modern enough to where you felt at home. There were 2 large box fans provided so we didn't need the one that we had brought and there was a small tv to help the kids wind down and relax at night. I suggest bringing life jackets for the kids (didn't see any with the boats, but we already had our own) and a couple small extension cords (the 3 foot kind) just for...

"A couple of us are from the UP and are very happy with our stay but… finding the property proved to be difficult as there is not a proper and well defined address or signage and the driveway or lack there of is a big BIG problem, the cabin itself was absolutely a dream but that is all I would give a positive feedback on, the fire pit was great and it was fully stocked but the creek as described in the picture is non existent but overall it was a good stay"
