"The bed was the most comfortable bed at a hotel that I've ever stayed in. The hotel was central so walking around, you could find anything. The hot tub is NOT INCLUDED. It cost about $50 usd per person for 30 mins. The staff was amazing save one interaction I had. I was going for Fika and the coffee/tea station didn't have any tea so I asked the front desk lady if it's moved or just all gone. She said its over there in the machine. It was not my first day at the hotel but they were doing a remodel so I asked if it was a new machine and went back to check it out again. It was not. I had used the machine before so I mentioned that the machine has the water but im looking for teabags. She got upset and reiterated that it was all over "there". I asked if she could show me because maybe im overlooking it. By this time she was pissed and walked out to the tea area with an attitude. She said someone must have moved it to the new dining area (again, it was under remodel) and that she will just make a new tea caddy. It was all very rude and disrespectful and she didn't apologize for talking to me like I was an idiot."

"I stayed only one night and it was excellent. 9th floor room was clean, spacious enough for one person and the breakfast was outstanding. A taxi to the airport was right there. Location is great, walking distance to everything in the town. Check-in was fast. Elevators are FAST. My room was across from the elevator, but never heard any noise. Minor quibbles: 1) the room was a little cold and I had to crank the heat up full to warm up. 2) Desk electric outlets were tough to access 3) no phone in the room 4) the pump on the shampoo dispenser in the shower was broken (I did say minor quibbles)"

"Great location. Lovely breakfast and bar/lounge area. Rooms fine - all really clean. Short walk to harbour, main street and lots of bars/restaurants and shops. Would recommend "

"Awesome place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner is served which is a plus since restaurants are so expensive. The dinner varied everyday but the breakfast was the same-which was still good. The rooms are small but to us that was not important since we are not in a the room all day. We reserved the water view and let me tell you, it’s so worth it. It tends to get noisy at night. Very noisy. I was surprised that the snow was not removed around the perimeter of the hotel when all the other places were cleared. Nevertheless, it’s right on the heart of the city center and it was so convenient. Near the airport too-just a 20 minute ride by bus. There’s a 7-11 and a Kiwi supermarket which is super convenient and worth it. The tourists shops are way overpriced, but surprisingly the clothing gear way cheaper than the USA and worth it in buying so get some. The hotel does not provide touring options but the Radisson Blu is a few steps away so you can book there. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend. "

"Such a lovely cool hotel with fabulous views. Large window in room which was great with the fantastic views. I only stopped one night but would definitely be worth stopping a bit longer to take advantage of what the hotel offers and some of the trips. Very spacious room. Complimentary coffee. Food served all day. Very easy to get to from Tromso, fab journey, great scenery. My trip was April, but would like to return during the winter. Great."
