Excellent food, wonderful service, a pool area with views of Etna, there was so much to love! A little away from the usual tourist areas, St Maria di Licodia is an ideal location for exploring Etna and travelling into Catania or Taormina though you will need a car. The team at Hotel Ristorante Paradise are very welcoming and genuinely make the effort to ensure you have a wonderful stay."

"It was in a beautiful setting with vineyards and gardens throughout. The breakfast with eggs individually made and homemade cakes and desserts were phenomenal. There’s a special large communal room with glass views all around with views of the mountains. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom unique. Free parking with charging stations were right across the street. As outstanding as the facilities and grounds were the staff was better. From calling pharmacies to arranging tours to recommending hikes. They gladly did it all. At night they had a different homemade cake and coffee available. I had wonderful experiences at other resorts on this trip but Dimora Cottanera was the best. Grazie"

"Our stay at Za' Maria was beautiful. The hotel is quite out-dated but made up for this by being kept so clean. I couldn't find one single fault there. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back to stay there when we are in that area. "

"This is a funky little bed and breakfast in a very weird neighborhood. The bed and breakfast itself was beautifully equipped and furnished in a very fun way. We enjoyed our stay very much. We happened to get there late at night so driving through the neighborhood was a little bit iffy for us, but the next morning we walked to breakfast and all was well."
