"This place is a true GEM. From the moment we pulled up to the property we were greeted and treated with the red carpet treatment. We seriously felt like family during our entire stay. The food was delicious. The place was so clean I walked barefoot and my feet were NOT dusty or black. The only thing I regret is not knowing about this place sooner and not being able to stay longer. RUN to Cuova ecolodge; don’t walk! You will NOT be disappointed and you will certainly wonder why you have not heard...

"My room, #12, was nicely appointed & cozy. Kitchenette with dishes, dish soap, microwave & mini fridge. Bathroom had extra rolls of toilet paper and hand soap. Bath gel in shower stall. Comfy bed with clean linen, ironing board, luggage rack, bistro table with 2 chairs, a comfy chair with matching footrest and a chest of drawers (no closet). "Wendy, the proprietor, was great as well as everyone! Goergianne, Cherrie-Anne- so wonderful. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy. And watching the Leatherback turtles nest was amazing. It was a very safe and secluded space. And the food was perfectly amazing, even for someone as particular as me. I highly recommend for those wanting to experience the Trinidad island culture and hospitality."

"The borders were close due to Covid 19 the air line refunded my nonrefundable flight HOWEVER this hotel did not want to offer me a credit for a later stay WHEN PEOPLE WERE FREE TO ENTER THE COUNTRY. Although I was not asking for my money back. I think this was very dishonest. I will never recommend this place to anyone. however I will be in Trinidad as soon as I can.. DO not stay here I only booked because during the Carnival you don't really stay inside just change and go. "
