"Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. "Nice place for overnight stay. Reminded me of a dorm room in college. Gated property so very safe. Owners are very nice. No food on property except breakfast at 0830am for 12 euro. No coffee or fridge in your room. So eat lunch and dinner before you arrive . Bring your own drinks or wine and food. Great place to stay to move on to your next destination like to Perigeuax. "
