"This motel was very convenient for walking into Bar Harbor's main strip, but not so close that it was noisy. The staff was very helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants in the area. They had a map and highlighted some things for me. They took the time to help and seemed happy to do so. I would stay there again in a heartbeat."

"Acadia Hotel did not disappoint! The staff was incredibly friendly and even provided us with maps of Acadia National Park, which came in super handy. The hotel offers plenty of amenities like bikes and hiking gear, all of which are easily accessible. The location is perfect—everything is within walking distance, including great local restaurants and shops. They do offer a light breakfast, but if you’re looking for something more filling, I’d recommend checking out a nearby diner. Overall, our stay was amazing, and I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Bar Harbor or Acadia National Park! "

"We spent 3 nights at this charming older property. The Mizzentop building only has rooms facing the harbor and a direct view of Bar Island and the Porcupines. The Great Room has its own bartender and there was a piano player for entertainment every night. Cute gift shop in the lobby and multiple coffee stations. Never got to the indoor pool/hot tub but wish we had. "
