The Peninsula Lakehouse offers a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, perfect for families, friends, or groups seeking a memorable lakeside escape. This pan-abode home boasts two levels, with the main living area and three bedrooms on the upper level and a separate lower-level living space accessed from the outdoors.
Note: To access basement space guests will have to walk outside to go downstairs. The basement isn't connected inside.
The main level welcomes you with an inviting open-concept layout. The three-season room with lounging area provides panoramic views of the lake and opens onto the upper deck, where you’ll find a BBQ, outdoor dining area. Inside, the cozy living room features a wood-burning fireplace—ideal for chilly evenings, especially during the cooler fall and winter months.. The fully stocked kitchen ensures you’ll have everything you need for meals, from cookware to full-size appliances, whether you’re preparing a summer barbecue feast. And get comfortable in our living space with a 65 in smart TV and loads of board game options for game nights!
The lower level offers additional privacy, with its own kitchenette (please note that there only is a mini fridge), small living area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom, making it perfect for multi-family stays. Sliding doors open directly to the yard, providing easy access to the lake in the summer.
The expansive backyard includes hammocks for lazy afternoons, a large fire pit with seating for eight, and a spacious dock perfect for fishing, sunbathing, or simply soaking up the summer sun. In the fall, the surrounding forest bursts into vibrant colors, creating a picturesque setting for walks, hikes, or simply relaxing on the deck with a warm drink in hand. The lake invites you to explore its waters with the included kayaks and canoe or in the winter perfect for ice fishing or snowshoeing in nearby trails. No matter the time of year, The Peninsula Lakehouse is designed to help you embrace the beauty of every season, making it the perfect destination for creating lasting memories with family and friends.
The cottage is located in cottage country and although the road is plowed during winter months, winter conditions can be variable and access roads into the cabin can require all-wheel drive and snow tires in poor conditions. Please note that unless there is a heavy winter storm, we do not refund if you are not able to make it into the property due to lack of preparedness. We recommend you always get trip insurance when possible.
