"Il Sentiero was a wonderful surprise. It is a very serene and picturesque agriturismo with tons of olive and lemon trees. Owner/operator Salvo is a very hospitable and lovely person. We chose to eat there each evening, and he never failed to provide us with tasty meals. We highly recommend this place for visitors to the Catania area. It is located about 40 minutes north of the airport, close to an autostrada exit, and is convenient for visiting places such as Mt. Etna, Taormina, and Messina."

"We only booked this hotel for 1 night and wished we could have stayed longer. It is in a gorgeous vineyard and is a great place for families and couples- there is a beautiful pool but what stands out besides a great Room with luscious sheets and views looking at amy Etna is the hospitality of the staff. "We picked this agritourismo hotel for its proximity to Catania and the airport - as well as its value and good reviews. It is in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find off the A19 because it is well signposted all the way. It is 20 minutes from the airport IF there is no traffic, but it took us 45 minutes because the approach to the airport is terribly confusing and there were long lines of cars. "At first we were a bit worried as we couldn't find the hotel in the sat nav, but then after we put in the coordinates we found on google maps, we found the gorgeous, serene and peaceful Ai Vecchi Crateri Hotel!
