"Very nice setting, quiet area, free parking and clean rooms. Cons -The b'fast is pretty basic, i would have expected something a little bit better (although continental) -Wifi in room wasnt good. used 3G most of the time. The coverage might need to be improved a little bit Pros -Nice pool area -Quiet setting -Very friendly people -Rooms are spacious and nicely laid out"

"All I can say this place is amazing. As it was out of season,we were the only couple here and we were looked after like royalty. The room was beautiful ,modern and rustic. Breakfast was wonderful a cooked or continental. We were surrounded by 3000 lemon trees and the whole experience made us feel so special. We didn't have a car and walked from the station and spent our stay walking - which was so easy. Can't wait to return again soon ❤️"

"The property is very beautiful and the views of the sea from the slope of the Etna are spectacular. Very quiet, comfortable accommodations, very nice swimming pool. "My wife and I stay at Antico Borgo ant it was awesome. Rooms are clean very well maintained with great restaurant and plenty of space to walk around. Great views on Etna and sea from terrace. "Never felt the need to write a bad review before. Not getting sleep for nights because of 3 constant barking farm dogs literally next to the apartment made us. The renting neighbors had the same problem. Earplugs weren't enough. After several sleepless nights we reached out to the property manager. "We loved this place. We have never stayed at an Agrituristica before so were unsure what to expect. It could not have been nicer. Everything was clean, fresh and new. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...

"Amazing hotel. Lives up to the reviews we researched before our stay. The staff are very helpful and the food is very tasty if you choose to eat at the hotel in the evening. A few things to be aware of: 1) it’s not close to lots of other bars and restaurants so expect to drive or take taxis to get about to the main towns 2) the two restaurants near the hotel were both enjoyable food but I would be careful of the bill - we were overcharged both times. 3) make sure you ask the cost of the taxi...

"A two minute walk from Catania’s train station. The area is bit seedy. Once inside the hotel the seediness is replaced by old world charm and elegance. An enchanting courtyard filled with a variety of thriving plant and trees makes for an ideal place where I enjoyed good strong coffee in the morning and an evening limoncello. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to the city walls and cathedrals, which are stunning. Helpful English speaking staff made the stay even more convenient."

Friendly hotel with style

"Very nice and charming hotel. The staff is amazing. We were welcomed like old friends and given numerous tips for our 3 day stay in Catania. Breakfast is good and you can get freshly made scrambled eggs ( real eggs!) served with a smile. Order double espresso and add hot water to have really good coffee as americano is likely an instant coffee. Bed is very comfy with spotless white sheets. The area around looks a bit sketchy, but we never encountered any problems. "
