"Great location. 3 mins from a great beach and near 2 places within walking distance to eat in the evening. A great room with everything you need for a few days away. Staff at the hotel were really accomodating washed and dried our towels and tshirts as we had been on the beach. "A bit off the beaten track with the last 2 miles being up a single vehicle road but the effort to get there is rewarded with the isolation that one can enjoy. "We had a wonderful time. Cwmllan feels back in time in the best way. Some reviewers seemed critical of the water pressure from the spring-fed water system but this didn't bother us much at all. It's a place to go slower, not to be rushing around! Lovely neighbours and beautiful surroundings. Wonderful choice of walks and a good old-school DVD collection for cosy rainy nights in. Highly recommended. "
