"Wonderful stay in a fabulous location. Our host drove down to the main parking lot and picked us up along with our bags so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. She was lovely - providing a map with where to go/what to do and where to eat. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of local pastries and fresh juice and delicious cappuccinos. Everything was perfect - would definitely recommend a visit to gorgeous Ragusa. "

"I rarely leave reviews, only when really bad or really good, in this case it’s the later, an absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning location and views. Ivan took wonderful care of us and seems to have thought of everything to make stays enjoyable. Scicli itself is a great base, full of very good restaurants and bars, close enough to both the towns of Regusa, Modica etc but also beautiful beaches at Donalucatta and Punta Secco"

"Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town."

The only negative was that we didn't expect the street would actually be all stairs and located either three down from one regular street or four up. "Chiara is an exceptional host, easy to contact and had lots of great tips on where to go. You do need a car to visit all the wonderful towns and beaches nearby. I wish we had stayed longer as we couldn’t fit everything into one week. We particularly liked Noto, Ragusa and Marina Di Ragusa for the beach. The nearest town Sciciliis a fantastic place to eat in the evening as it is only a 12 minute drive and has so many good restaurants. The pool is really a plunge pool but good enough for cooling...

"Carmela couldn't have been a better host - she went above and beyond to provide information and additional amenities to cater for our group (eg. providing advice and a microwave for one of our babies with allergies). The units were spotless and the pool was regularly cleaned (Carmela's husband did this so they were there semi-regularly). There was a technical fault with some of the air-con units but Carmela did everything to rectify it. They also left us local vegetables which were delicious!...
