However, positives far outweighed the negatives. The receptionist was extremely friendly on arrival. Every member of staff we met were welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to please. The front of house for breakfast were exceptional. I had a massage, I had Merryn, this was the highlight of my trip and will stay with me forever, due to the conversation we had. "We were impressed with the warmth of the hospitality we received at this quaint hotel. The gentleman opened the pool just for us for a quick dip even though it was closing very soon. The pool was so warm , especially in the pouring rain - lovely fun. The staff were very smiley, genuine, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend "
