"This was a very cheap stay in a great destination. The hotel was excellent value for money and we had a fabulous view. It was very quiet so had a good sleep. However, it is tired in places and would benefit from a makeover. Wouldn't take a lot of work but would be beneficial in my view. Just needs more attention to detail. Staff very friendly and helpful. "Accommodation in the style of a traditional bed-and-breakfast. A few metres to the sea front although the coast wasn’t visible from my room. Breakfast was enough to last me all day! "

"Great stay. Photos did not do the room justice, spacious and very well fitted out. Staff could not do enough for you. Great bar downstairs as well! A fantastic central location. We will be returning next year."

"The property was very very clean, had a nice view of the sea from our bedroom. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and so so friendly. Breakfast is probably one of the best breakfast I’ve had since our stays within Barmouth. Looking forward to going in Easter with my family. Thank you all again at the Tillman."

Comfortable, cosy and welcoming

"The lady who checked us in was so lovely. We had a warm welcome and the room was cosy and lovely and warm. The bed was so comfortable and we had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The dog was very welcome and he really enjoyed the stay too. I would highly recommend and we will be back soon."

Starling Cloud, Aberystwyth by Marston’s Inns

"Can't believe the quality of the room for the price got a last minute deal for £45. The room was brilliant very new and modern well laid out and friendly staff. And the food at the restaurant was excellent. Can't fault it and I will definitely use it again if I go back to Aberystwyth. "
