"If I could give this hotel, a 20 stars, I would! What a friendly staff, beautiful lodging, clean, well accommodating, especially since we brought two dogs. It was a great day there. I haven’t slept that good in a long time! Lol we really enjoyed our stay there and can’t wait for our next trip back so that we can stay there again."

"This was our first stop on a 14 hour journey from Florida to Virginia to find our forever home. We had no idea where we were going, ended up two and a half hours through the Western Virginia mountains ... In the dark... I'm the rain! But then thru the mountain mist, shown the Beautiful bright lights of The Gateway Motel! I would have loved to stay longer. The owner was amazing, friendly and inviting. The rooms were perfect, cozy and warm. The property is gorgeous with the running rapid Creek next to it that you can hear to soothe you. They had fire pits and all sorts of outdoor relaxation. "
