"After traveling criss-cross through France for 10 days, the apartment was a perfect, tranquil island to recover. Gilles, the owner, showed us the cozy "home" and we felt like home immediately. The grocery store in the little town of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne has everything you can wish for, even a nice Fish Department. "Location was great. Cluny is a quaint town. Really enjoyed cafe central down the street. Lunch specials were outstanding with real Art Deco Era wall paintings. Parking behind apartment was fine. Sometimes had a 5 minute walk when full at night but no problem. Nice Farmers market right behind apartment on Saturdays. Weather got hot (high 80s) but room stayed cool with fans."

"2nd floor apartment (stairs or lift access), really central location, short walk from restaurants, shops and the river and easy parking. Check in process was all handled remotely and as such, it was slightly confusing to gain access to the building, but we managed in the end. "Very spacious and clean property with plenty of space to stay with 2 other couples. There’s one toilet, but two bathrooms with showers, which wasn’t expected but worked fine for our group. The location is really great - excellent view of the city and river from the living space and very walkable to city center attractions like food, bars, etc. Parking was a breeze as well for driving to attractions outside of Macon. Overall the hosts were very responsive and helpful and I would definitely stay...

"Séjour merveilleux dans un cadre magnifique au calme à la campagne verdure fraîcheur Face aux vignobles avec 1 piscine au sel loin des regards et surtout un accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires ;une grande disponibilité de la part de Nathalie et ayant de délicates attentions. De très bons conseils pour profiter de la région. Que dire du petit déjeuner copieux varié délicieux.. Gîte décoré avec goût et frais du fait des matériaux..
