"Terraces were very large and perfect for the warm weather. The flat was large and comfortable. The front door to the building was glass and it was smashed. It was propped open when we arrived but was closed and locked with the smashed glass for the rest of the time. Unfortunately, we were not given a key to the front door and had to rely on luck and the neighbours to let us in. Also, we were told we had to pay 15 Euros for sheets. Not sure how they expected us to bring sheets from Canada! I...

"As reported by a another traveller there is a very strong smell of heating oil in the apartment. When entering the apartment, the smell is strongest, but after a few minutes we would just get used to it. Initially we thought these were smells from cleaning / detergents, but we realised after a while that this was heating oil smells. We came back yesterday and all our equipment needs to be washed. The apartment is quite well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances such as coffee machine...

"The hosts, Flo and Caro, were most welcoming and helpful. The rental is an entire floor in their renovated farmhouse - separate from the family's living space. It was so comfortable, so well-equipped. The village is small and rural, but very close to the larger town of Salins-le-Bains. The scenery is spectacular. Many local hiking trails nearby. We stayed for almost four weeks. It was very healing. We would definitely book again."
