"We enjoyed a four night stay here on arrival from Australia, for a family wedding. We had booked a family room. Two queen sized beds. "Exceptionally polite courteous and professional staff. We had the family room - the Grand Suite which was very spacious and well appointed with a good bathroom with new fixtures and fittings. Only downside was the noise insulation with the adjoining room i.e. we heard the occupants next door early the next morning. Otherwise good value for money. "

"I'm splitting this review into two, the hotel and the pub because the hotel is a separate building. THE HOTEL I loved the unique little touches at this hotel. "1st impression, the hotel was a bit dated on the outside. Loads of spaces for parking. Just remember to validate your vehicle reg on the tablet in reception.Check in was easy, staff polite and pleasant. The place was busy.Plenty of space in the bar/reception area. Room was ok. "Great location and great price but bathroom and kitchen area are tired looking and outdated. Bedroom smelt but was only there to sleep. Traffic noise from 6am felt constant for about 2 hours. Checking in and the codes were simple to use."

"This property was perfect for our needs, working at a conference in the city. We arrived 9pm and left early both days, so just needed a place to sleep. Private carpark round the rear of property. "Very poor hotel. I was staying a few miles away for half the price and the rooms were very modern, clean and comfortable. As I was working away with a colleague I booked 2 family rooms. The rooms are dated and not up to standard. I had no towels in my room and there was only 1 in the other FAMILY room I booked. Excellent Hotel.

"Once again an excellent stay at The Maldron Hotel. Was warmly greeted by Bijay at reception who assisted us with room selection for our stay of three days. The room was clean and perfect, the bathroom was also spotless. The bed was very comfortable resulting in a good nights sleep. The restaurant buffet breakfast was comprehensive, the choice was excellent and well cooked. We were greeted by Kayode there who remembered us from a previous stay with a beaming smile and once again was very helpful. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to any one for its first class hospitality and easy access to the city centre."
