"I had a very disappointing experience with the Holiday Rental Specialists at Jimmy's Homestead. When we arrived the house was in disgusting condition - dead insects, spiders and hairs throughout many bathrooms (see photos). I don't think it had been cleaned in weeks. Having spent nearly $6000 for the weekend, my group and I were appalled (and I was very embarrassed having booked it for the group). Holiday Rental Specialists have been unresponsive to my complaint by both phone and email. AVOID...

"Attached at the rear to the 'big' house I felt a little upstairs downstairs! Loved the gardens, chooks, donkeys and outside spaces. No fuss check-in after we determined it wasn't 4pm as shown but 2pm. Recommend for city dwellers who want a taste of the farm life."

"When we finally worked out where the house was on this desolate property, we were greeted by a dilapidated boxing bag and home gym on the balcony. "We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property."

"A beautifully renovated cottage set in a fantastic location among other historic homes in Goulburn. A short walk from the Main Street, Hazel House has all the luxuries needed for a short stay including automated air con and soft jazz as the front door opens. "Peaceful and quiet. Kitchen fully equipped including glad wrap and foil. Bed was so comfortable. Fire was warm. Darren property manager was great nothing was too much trouble. Beau the horse trained us every morning he came for his carrots and back again in the afternoon. Donkeys paid a visit as well."
