"This is a really good hotel. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. We had a challenge working the tv and the safe in the room didn’t work, but in spite of that we would stay here again. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent!"

"Nice hotel with a pool and restarant. Not close enough to walking so used taxi. Very nice tour of the Grajalva river canyon and Chiapas de Chorzo with Alfredo who has a booth in the lobby and also provides taxi service."

"It was a pleasure to stay at the Hotel Villa Mercedes. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable—a wonderful restaurant on the premises where we enjoyed dinner and breakfast accompanied by excellent service. The hotel staff was great, although they were unaware of Expedia's VIP access - in any case, they were friendly & accommodating and offered us free drinks. We plan to stay here again."

"Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms were all clean and comfortable. The area is quiet although behind the suites there is a gym that plays music non-stop all day but the nights are quiet. "
