"The greatest part of this hotel besides the amazing staff ( Jake, Zach and Bridget ) was the history of the property, not realizing the name of the property White Star Tavern was associated to the Titanic, Every were in the hotel where pictures and historical facts of the Titanic and the White Star shipping company. The rooms were cosy and quiet even though it’s above a tavern you never heard noise. There’s no lift but it’s like walking up the stairs at home and you leave your luggage downstairs...

"Good clean room. Comfortable bed Powerful shower -excellent Food - ok not really much taste. Prawn cocktail wasnt brilliant , lettuce wasnt washed, not many prawns. Steak cooked to well (which i asked for) but not much taste to the meat. Would stay again maybe not dine. "

"Good location, just 50m or so from the Quay front, great staff allround, but room was ok, but adequate only, for price charged. Dog friendly, which was critical for us, but £10 surcharge charged. Lack of hotel parking wasn't too much of an issue as large multistorey within c.400m, but does add any £10 cost to the visit"

"We stayed here for one night. Our room was lovely, very clean and cosy, lots of lovely touches to make it homely and they thought of everything including a fresh bottle of water and milk in the fridge. The shower and bath were both great and everything was spotless. We ate dinner in the restaurant that night, it was packed but the service was fantastic and the food delicious, we both had the mussels. The cocktails were brilliant too, we’d already had a cocktail each earlier in the afternoon...
