Brand new apartment in downtown Toronto conveniently located right next to the theatre district and a very short walk to Rogers Centre. So much nicer than staying in a hotel.

Disaster from start to finish.
Disaster from check-in to check out. Poor communication with owner. Beware, it is not actually a hotel, but a condo so ensure you are aware of this an instructions on how to receive keys etc before arrival. Upon our arrival, building is still under construction, so we had to climb over a construction zone just to get into the front door. The room had NOTHING in it - no toilet paper, no tissues, dirty towels. No basic essentials for a short stay (like sugar packets, instant coffee or tea). It is brand new, and on face value, looks chic, but beware, furnishings are cheap and very basic. A room that 'accommodates 4 people' has a dining table for 2 people? Fantastic location, has potential to be great but really missing the mark.

Building Under Construction
The building does not have a number on the outside of the building, no documentation in the room on access, and the building is under significant construction. Construction starts around 8am each morning and it is very noisey, so plan to get up early. Also, fire alam testing will take the elevator out of service so be sure to find out which stairs are finalized, else you will not be able to get up to the room. This is a rental unit, not a hotel, so you there is no staff to help you with these issues.

Mercer Suites - Toronto May 2015
This rented condo was not as advertise... It was falsely advertised as a two bedroom..it was only a one bedroom condo with another bed placed in an alcove just off the kitchen. ---Confronted owner and they said 'because there is no door or wall in front of the extra bed doesn't make it any less of the bedroom'.. There were no curtains on the any of the windows (two 7x7feet window in the bedroom and 15x12 feet windows in the living space.. not at single curtain). Confronted owner,, they said 'you saw the pictures'. Contact person was not accommodating. Strong musty/moldy smell from a closet the infiltrated the whole apartment. Building still under construction. Location to downtown Toronto very convenient
